Taro, a young fisherman, saves a little turtle from a crane’s hungry beak. As a reward, he is invited to stay under the sea, in God Ryu-Jin’s palace...
Director's BIO
Pauline Defachelles obtains his diploma of art professions in cartoon film in ESAAT (Roubaix - France) in 2008 and his diploma of digital director to Supinfocom (Valenciennes - France) in 2011. His graduation film "Folksongs and Ballads" (co-realized with Mathieu Vernerie and Rémy Paul), is selected by several festivals (Clermont-Ferrand, Hiroshima, Bristol, Villeurbanne ...) and win an award of excellence in Japan Media art festival, in Tokyo in 2012. She works regularly to Sans Soucis Productions and occupies various posts : realization, storyboard, layout, decoration, 2D-3D animation … From 2014 till 2016, she realizes "Urashima Taro", her first short film, in stop motion, produced by Sans Soucis Productions and Pictanovo.
