Director's BIO
Marv Newland made his first animated film, BAMBI MEETS GODZILLA, in 1969. He founded the animation production company International Rocketship Limited in Vancouver, Canada in 1975. At this studio he directed ANIJAM (1984), BLACK HULA (1988), PINK KOMKOMMER (1991), POSTALOLIO (2008) and other films. Newland has freelanced for other studios and has animated, directed and designed for tv shows, commercials and has also made animated films with the National Film Board of Canada.
