Synopsis

The moon is shining on a joyful couple. While they play they find a secret garden in the middle of a forest. Unaware of the danger, the young couple goes deeper and deeper in this mysterious midnight garden. Charmed, they slowly lost themselves in this botanical labyrinth..

Director's BIO

Author of the graphic creation of My Little Planet (1995), graphic designer and screenwriter of L'Enfant au grelot (Stuttgart Award 1997, Cartoon d'or 1998), co-director with Damien Louche-Pelissier of Potato and the kitchen garden (Pulcinella d'or 2001), Benoît Chieux contributes for several years to the success of the studio Folimage. In 2004 he became the author of the Mica series (Ricochets Productions) and then joined Jacques-Rémy Girerd for the feature film Mia and the Migou (released in 2008), of which he is the graphic designer and the artistic director. In 2013, he co-directed with Jacques-Rémy Girerd the feature film Tante Hilda! In 2014 he made his first short film Tigres à la queue leu leu, produced by Les Films de l’Arlequin (Jury Prize and Audience Award of the children's film SICAF 2015). His last short film, Midnight’s garden, is produced by Sacrebleu Productions, a company with which he is currently developping several projects (shorts and features).
